Iisha + Gobind | Punjabi/Sikh Cinematic Wedding Day Highlights by Robles Video Productions
On November 1, 2014, Iisha and Gobind became husband and wife. They contacted me over a year before the wedding, and I was thrilled, being that I covered Isha’s sister’s wedding 3 years. I was honored that the Sethi family would have us cover their second daughter’s wedding.
They chose to have their wedding at the Sherton Hotel located in Universal City, California. The ceremony began with a Gobind arriving on a white horse for his baraat. They held a traditional Sikh ceremony in the ballroom under a pink & gold draped canopy. Following the ceremony, the bride’s family hosted a luncheon, where they had Violinder entertain their guest. The day wrapped day with a doli ceremony, where the bride & groom were driven away in a navy blue Mercedes. The reception followed the next day at The Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. The groom’s family hosted this beautiful evening of great food, drinks and entertainment.
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 2 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception. They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a highlight reel (16 minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files.
